Wayne Charles started his career working in his family’s business, whose strength was in retail, wholesale and manufacturing. Learning the business from the ground up, setting the foundation that you must learn to crawl before you can walk. After a few years working in the family business, gaining knowledge, experience and understanding the controls involved with movement of goods into and out of the business and developing his people skills, he went to Poughkeepsie, New York to further his education in pursuance an Associates Degree in Business Management and completed it in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
While in Florida, he developed a keen interest in database management. On completing his first degree, he immediately pursued a 2nd degree at Seneca College in North York, Toronto Canada studying computer programming.
Fast forward a few years, after starting a family and pursuing his career aspirations, he earned the opportunity to join a regional soon to be international BPO. Targeted on honing his management skills, he studied and acquired a Masters of Science degree with a focus in Information Systems Management (MSc ISM).
Armed with this knowledge and experience in business and computerized systems, Wayne’s career specializing in the Management of Information Systems has exposed him to various practices and technologies that formulate strategic initiatives which drive efficiency in line with company goals and objectives.
With the constant evolution of technology, he has learnt and implemented Information system practices that can be adopted as business needs and ideas grow. No single approach is the right approach for all business environments.
During his career, he has played pivotal roles in the transformation and development of BPO’s, retail and customer service environments. He has been able to execute processes that translate into revenue growth as well as crucial savings for his business relationships.
Wherever he goes, he ensures his goals are inline with his clients goals where he is able to produce a work environment that the stakeholders and employees look forward to being apart of. After all, a company’s greatest asset is not only the people it employs, but the development of a progressive culture it creates for itself and its community.
He believes understanding the use of technology and it’s entanglement with business is what will ensure its survival.
